Earl Hill was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. He received his B.A. in Communications in 2006 from Georgia State University. He has worked with young children throughout his life in several different capacities. When he was 5 years old, his mother, Selease Hill started an in-Home daycare facility. She ran the daycare out of his childhood home for 12 years. It was here that he got an eyewitness account and hands on experience in what providing early child education entailed. He was also able to see the personal rewards reaped for impacting the lives of several children over several years. Earl also worked in the children’s ministry at his church and as a youth coach for several sports for 10 years with East Point & Hapeville Parks & Recreation.
Professionally Earl worked in banking for 7 years and then insurance for another 5 years. He stated, "While I experienced success and financial gain in the jobs that I had and they were deemed important to society, I didn’t feel fulfillment in those roles. I was still searching for something more." It was with that sentiment that Earl decided to join forces with his wife, Owner, Ashley Hill and founder of Precious Gems Learning Academy. "I wanted to have a hands on approach to reaching our youth, instead of complaining about who and what they become in the future. Accepting the role of director at our Academy was the best way for me to fulfill this need and desire and complete my mission."Contact Earl Hill
